Demand Studios Sucks Also Sucks, BurnCEs Misses the Point Completely

This thread's length is nothing compared to the length of other threads I've debated on. There's one thread, on the Old Protest Warrior Forums, that stretched over 222 pages. Each page consisted of 50 posts. That was back in 2005/2006. Wouldn't mind a repeat performance. :D
Oh, please. Sugar tits, you're an amateur. My thread's WAY bigger than yours. I once "participated" in a thread that got to 26^4 x 2^32 x 2^4. We only stopped because our fingers were bleeding.
I doubt you'll be here that long.

You're deliberately missing the point, or you simply don't get it. So let me simplify this for you.

I know right off the bat if someone intends to engage in an endurance debate contest with me. My stating my track record is me reminding them that I will outlast them in debate.

You don't want to admit this, but I know this from debating with others on the internet. Let's face it. People like you argue until you have the last word. When you come across someone like me, who'll keep hammering you, and keep denying you the last word, you can't handle it.

I'm not bragging that I could grow a thread. I'm letting you people know that I'll keep arguing with you until you give up. Thread length, and duration, don't bother me.

She doesn't scare anybody away. For someone that talks about trolling and fighting on message boards, she puts up one of the weakest arguments.

You know it, baby bitch.
And listen up, little boy blue. We had to 'shop the thread shot down in case we ran out of Internets.
No such thread existed.

This is a feeble attempt to be sarcastic in the face of not having an argument. This is also a feeble attempt to cover up for your failure to bully the new guy around. The only thing that you had to shop around for was bandage for your bruised ego.

Common internet thug description from someone that gets their bullying shoved back into their faces... "little boy" or "little guy."

I remember that thread, Burn. Remember the joke on that page where everyone was trolling the OP and he didn't get it. Even though he had vast Interwebs experience? Good times.
So much for not having contempt:

"I don't care enough to have contempt." -- Berg

You also got that wrong. This wasn't a case where everybody was trolling me just to get a response. This was about a bunch of Internet bullies attacking a new forum poster in an attempt to drive him away.

When the new guy threw their bullying back into their faces... then dragged their faces through their inability to hold an effective argument... they psychologically broke down into throwing sarcasm around like monkeys throwing feces.

You people still have issues with my stomping your faces into the ground. That's not the reaction you guys expected from the new guy.

That's right, I think the OP thought being off the fucking Asperger's Scale somehow made him interesting.
IIRC, even CW thought the whole thing a bit too TL;DR and banned the fucker in the end for the offense of boring everyone's tits off.
People who are used to others ceding the fight to them... will describe someone who'll keep fighting them... as someone with a psychiatric disorder. I've had PTSD, ADHD, ODD, etc., thrown at me by people who argued others to death.

They usually did this in a panicky, or frustrated, mode, when they couldn't get the last word with me.

However, let's show you how you shot yourself in the foot with the "Asperger's Scale" charge.

According to WebMD, Albert Einstein, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Thomas Jefferson and Marie Curie had Asperger's symptom.

I'm looking back at how many of you had problems understanding writing that a 5th grader could understand. I could see how you'd throw a description toward me that was also thrown toward historic geniuses.

I got banned from Demand Studios Sucks Forums for allegedly making "irrelevant posts." That's a phony charge on two accounts. Every one of my posts, except the first one, was reactive. It had something to do with what was said. Second, the administrators left the thread open so that other people could make irrelevant posts.

If they were serious about people not making "irrelevant posts," they would've locked the thread. They also would've sent a warning to everybody else that made irrelevant posts on that thread.

My efforts were partly about outlasting the opposition, and discrediting them. This had little to do with "impressing" anybody.

Oh gosh, Partygirl's post made the most sense. I loved it. Partygirl, my pearl-clad little doggy, you have just wonz the entire internetz.
And to the one who started it all (hereby known to me only as Princess), your response to me was too long and I didn't read it.
But you got fired from DMS. Tee hee. :D (REPEAT POINT)
You read my original post enough to conclude that I got "fired" from DMS. That post was 252 words long. One of my replies to you, after that, was 269 words long. One of my responses to you before that was only 17 words long. The longest reply to you was 726 words long... 226 words longer than a typical Demand Studios article.

If you could read a Demand Media  article that you wrote, you'd be able to read something that I wrote... something written so that even a 5th grader would understand what's written.

The reality is that this isn't the case of you not reading something that was "too long." This is about you not having a real argument. I smashed your attempts at cyber bullying on a message board, and you're responding like a child that just got belted.

Also, how could this be a case of my "hereby" being known to you as "princess" when you used that term towards me earlier?

The second reality is that you're repeating yourself like a broken record. You're too proud to do the right thing when you're outgunned and have lost.

Also, what I said with regards to Demand Media Studios:

"I wrote for Demand Studios regularly from late 2008 to early 2009. I only wrote two articles for them since then. They let me go on July 31, 2011. Not a loss, no regrets here. Matter of fact, I was glad that they let me go, I even let them know that. I've posted my letter to them on one of my blogs in case anybody is interested." -- thebesig

So what if I've lost my writing privileges at Demand Studios. Do you want to know how much of an idiot you come across as when you laugh at me for that? That's like laughing at someone who decided not to renew his "membership" with a non profit organization that has gone bad.

All I know after reading the zomb forums is that you should call that Jamie chick a teabagger. She did say don't "call" me a teabagger, so maybe she's still into letting hubby teabag her on a Saturday night.
And, of course, calling a teabagger a teabagger is similar to racist slurs. Those DMS writers. They are so smart.
Partygirl doesn't win anything but the "can't debate" award.

Her reaction is typical of someone who doesn't have a counter argument. They have nothing in a fight, and have nothing to say in general. They end up doing the equivalent of "blah blah blah" to make up for their shortcomings.

One funny thing about this exchange, I write at a level that a grade schooler could understand. Someone that was 12 years old can read an article that I wrote. This article is similar, reading level wise, as my posts on Demand Studios Sucks' forums. He perfectly understood what I was getting at.

If a 12 year old kid could understand my writing, despite being "wordy," how in God's name could grown adults... people that bill themselves as "writers," have a problem understanding what I'm writing? Many of the adults on Demand Studios Sucks Forums can't accomplish what a 12 year old could easily accomplish.

I feel sorry for anybody that retains them for their writing services. That person won't know what they're in for.

Hello, little man, boy, I heard a lot about you. I knew a guy once who looked like you. One day...BAM!
He who needs light blue, should mix blue and white -- Oh man, I love Spanish!
You've never seen me face to face. So you don't know facts like my height, skin tone and age. You don't even know what I'm like with other people in real life. A smart person would know that having worked for Demand Media Studios, I couldn't be under 18.

But let's look at reality. You've got no fights in that thread. You showed up after I got banned just to offer your one cent. So far, you owe me some serious change.

Also, your "BAM" implication. Guess what? The Anti Iraqi Force felt the same way about me. How does it feel to be aligned with America's enemies? Given your lack of integrity on Demand Studios Sucks, I wouldn't be surprised if that fact didn't bother you.

You're just another windbag that likes to hear itself talk "tuff."

What you're really saying is this:

"Hey, look at me, I want attention! I'm jumping onto the bandwagon! Since you failed to kiss my friends' asses, I wish you were dead! If my friends hear me say that, they'd like me better! I'm saying this to look good to them!"

Demand Studios Sucks Also Sucks, EnigmaticJack Missed my Point

What I also said:

"Even if I don't get back with you tonight, tomorrow, the next week, month, year or decade, I will get back to you. My replying to you guys is almost as guaranteed as death and taxes." -- thebesig

And this...

"Being a troll for what? Giving other posters here a taste of their own medicine? If I do get banned, I'll just continue this debate on another website that I post on. There's an international audience could get good get entertainment at your, and other posters here, line of reasoning." -- thebesig

Or, I could just post it on my blog. It offers an increase in "longevity" beyond any message board. Many of the message boards that I posted on, when I started debating, are gone. One remains from that period. It's active because it has a continuous stream of activity from an ongoing interest. That interest transcends local drama.

Demand Studios Sucks Forums exists because of resentment against Demand Media Studios. Traffic will slow down on both sites when the titles run out... meaning... it won't be long before both forums go defunct.

Again, my replying to you guys is almost as guaranteed as death and taxes.

Demand Studios Sucks Also Sucks, Donna Can't Read in Context, yet Parades Itself as a "Writer" or "Editor."

Haven't finished reading this thread. It's probably already dead, but THANK YOU WriterOfSpam for clearing that up for me. I was trying to figure out WTH he meant by antiques. Good God that was irritating. Now which one of you is going to borrow him some money for his great idea? Cluebat, you in?
First, I'm not surprised that my use of "antiques" to describe you people's games went right over your head. Here, let's do some analytical thinking. What I've previously said:

"I've been debating online, on and off, since 2003. Everybody that told me that "nobody cares," followed a course of action that contradicted their statement." -- thebesig

"I know the real reason people respond to me, and it's no different from that of others that I've debated with since 2003. The "nobody cares" canard is just more self serving claptrap by people who don't have a good argument, or debate standing, but who still want to hear themselves talk." -- thebesig

"But, I know your games before you even play them here. I know it because you people aren't the first ones to try to play these games in the face of my not letting up. This isn't the first time that I've seen many of the replies that I've seen on this thread. The words may be different here and there, but the consistency remains." -- thebesig

What do these three have in common? Answer, they talk about how people pretty much do the same things over and over again. It doesn't matter who they are, where I've debated them, and when I debated with them.

Their games, and their tactics (inductive fallacy, straw man, red herring, hot air rhetoric, name calling, etc.) are old to me. I've seen them over and over again. Hence, my describing their actions as "antiques."

Antiques are OLD... just like the desperate actions you guys engage in. I've seen desperate posters play your games before... from one message board to another.

The opposition's actions may seem "unique" to them. You guys may think that you're the "only" people that pull the stunts that you're pulling on this thread. This may be "high speed," to you guys, but they're OLD to me. Hence, I will use "antiques" to describe your games.

I use "antiques" the same way someone would accuse a fellow employee of "sucking up" to the boss. In both instances, I use words intended for one meaning to communicate something else.

Second, your reply isn't about why I used antiques. It's about you pulling anything out of your rear end just to have something to say.

Third, what I said:

"I'm not asking for money. Not a single dime... not a single penny. Just for action if someone wants story ideas if they want to build their portfolios. After all... if you're not writing for a client, you should be writing for yourself (in addition to prospecting for business)." -- thebesig

If you've allegedly read my posts to find my use of "antiques" in statements, then certainly you would've caught where I spelled my intentions out. This isn't about me making money. You guys aren't even in my client universe.

You also proved the other posters wrong about people "not" reading my posts. Or... you didn't read what I said, but are just jumping the bandwagon.

Demand Studios Sucks Also Sucks, Donna too Stupid to Read in Context, Throws the "Stupid" Charge Around

Donna does her part as a passenger on the bandwagon...
Thanks to you, too, for giving the stupid a bit of free education.
Stupid is not using your brains to analyze and comprehend what you're reading. As a "writer," you should understand that reading is more than just knowing how to read each word. It's also knowing what's being communicated, and why it's being communicated.

Using "antique" instead of "antic" isn't stupidity. It's me using a word, that describes old items, to describe games people play over and over and aver again.

He didn't give me any education. All he did was demonstrate his desperation and his failure to connect the dots. He thought that he was straightening me out, but all he did was act like an ass by showcasing his reading comprehension failure.

That was also him proving to me that people do read what I say.

Also, don't dismiss a person's standing his ground, and refusing to take your abuse, as that person being "stupid."

If I'm "stupid," quotations used strongly, for using "antiques" in my statement, then everybody that used the term, "sucking up" is "stupid."

If you don't see how idiotic you come across to logical thought, you need to quit being a writer/editor, and to go back to school.

By the way, quit sucking his dick. If you understood what that meant, you're a hypocrite.

You're either a liar, or you're just jumping on the bandwagon.

First, I wasn't "frontin." I was completely factual in my posts. Everything that I said about myself was factual. Even though people accused me of not being who I said I was, nobody bothered trying to verify my statements.

If Demand Studios Sucks Forums had someone that was in the military, for example, that person could've contacted me. Anybody with first hand military experience would be able to spot a phony just from a simple conversation with someone claiming to be in the military.

The campaigns that I've been on are verifiable. One person tried to challenge that. I replied by scanning and emailing documentation to one of the administrators. The later came out and verified that what I said was true.

What I said about my writing was also spot-on.

You people need to stop wallowing in your "misery loves company" and pessimism attitudes. If you guys stopped frothing at the mouth, you'd find out that I offered a chance. This is a chance for you guys to move foreword. Nobody saw that plan, yet everybody in the opposition had an opinion on what my intentions were, and what I wanted.

There was a time in human history when people held fast to your types of assumptions... that's right, during the dark ages.

Second, I never read a PM from you, warning me to stop. The people in the opposition were definitely frontin, yet you didn't seem to have issues with that. You're just another bandwagon hopper that populates Demand Studios Sucks Forums.

Second, nobody called me a "brick" for the right reason. They called me a "brick" for refusing to follow the herd, and for refusing to back down. So let me slowly explain this to you.

In both instances, words intended for one thing are used to describe something else.

Anybody that doesn't see the fact that I used "antique" to describe old games and tactics is a brick.

Dammit, I miss all the good threads. Willie, did OP ever send you a PM with his grand scheme or did he get the banhammer first? I'd ask if maybe he copped to the fact that you were mocking him but bricks are too dense for mockery to penetrate.
It's not a scheme, but a tactic.

Any writer, worth their salt... no, make that any REAL writer would jump at any opportunity to expand their writing portfolios. If you have a regular string of clients giving you writing projects, you're constantly updating your writing portfolio.

But, what if you're just getting started, or all you had was Demand Studios?

The writing articles, that sets you up as an expert in an area, is a way to start. Real clients want to see that you could do a good job writing for them. They get enough people telling them that they could "do a good job." Most of the time, they get a writer that falls short.

You should already know, from working for Demand Media Studios, that being a specialist pays. That's where my strategy would've come in.

Simply put, you would've picked an eHow niche that you were an expert at. You would've gone on eHow and searched your niche area. You'd write updated articles based on the eHow articles that fell short. You'd post it on Ezine Articls, Associated Content, or another site.

This would've established you as a legitimate expert if you haven't done so yet. You'll have a series of articles, with your byline, on a subject area. These articles would be updated, as opposed to the outdated eHow articles.

You would've further reduced eHow's, thus Demand Media Studios', credibility.

You would've been able to take your series of articles, and approach REAL clients. These are clients that respect you as a writer. These are clients that treat you like a valuable member of a team... rather than as a sweat shop or slave worker. These are clients that would compensate you for what you're worth.

You would've started small, but you'd be moving forward. You wouldn't be looking for excuses to vent about Demand Studios.

I wouldn't have asked for money, just like I said I wouldn't.

You assume that I'm a "brick" for "not" getting things. The reality is that the opposition, including you, is having an extremely hard time getting what I'm saying... despite the fact that I'm being straight forward, honest, and am not hiding anything.

I jumped in offering you guys another path forward. Instead of seeing that fact, you guys chose to spin your wheels while going nowhere. You guys accuse me of having other motives, when I came back and insisted that I didn't want anything from you. You guys ignore that. You insist that I'm like some of the others that came before me.

Based on that fact, the opposition on Demand Studios Sucks, and you, are the bricks.

Don't mistake my refusal, to back down, as me being a "brick."

Finally, how about following your own path instead of jumping onto the bandwagon?

You missed the point behind my advising people of my debate track record. Point blank, I'm telling you people that I know that you guys are about trying to outlast the opposition. I'm also letting you know that I've got enough patience, and determination, to outlast the opposition.

I drop hints that I'll continue to debate people. I've lost count of how many times people have broken down... thrown one accusation after another against me... or demonstrate hatred toward me, because I refused to back down.

Many of the people that I've debated refuse to talk to me. By dropping hints that I'll outlast them in debate, I'm warning them. If they break down and accuse me of all evils, they only have themselves to blame. I remind them later of their choice.

They continued to reject the right decision.

The right decision is always to cede the fight to me... instead of continuing down a road that'll lead to them permanently resenting me. I debate only when I know more than the opposition. If I'm still debating with you, that's a major hint that you need to back off... and re-evaluate your arguments.

The reality is that you guys are about fighting until you have the last word. When you come across someone that won't let you have the last word, you guys go into the "playground kid" mentality mode.

Demand Studios Sucks Also Sucks, Darth_Brooks Jumps In

DAMN, this thread is epic! The book's kinda long-winded though, I hope they resolve that when they make the movie.
It would've lasted longer if the Demand Studios Sucks Forum administrators, part of the opposition, didn't ban me.

In fact, allowing me to debate on that thread indefinitely would've benefited the forums in the long run. Forcing the bullies into a protracted defense, then forcing them away from the thread, tends to "humble" them toward other posters.

They'd have no other choice. The rest of the community would've seen not only their vulnerabilities, but the fact that they're little people ganging up on others just so that they could feel "big."

It would've also forced a change in attitude towards any new person posting on that message board.

People would've gotten mentally exhausted from being rude, disrespectful, and hateful. Many would've pulled back, allowing others to freely discuss different topics and issues.

If Demand Studios Sucks is to have any longevity, they're going to need to shift their focus. Hating and resenting Demand Media Studios is only a short term strategy. What happens when Demand Studios is no longer an issue? If Demand Media takes the exit ramp to nothing, Demand Studios Sucks will follow them.

Unless...

Demand Studios Sucks changes its focus and orientation.

I would've attempted to help that change. They need to switch from hatred toward Demand Studios, to helping each other move foreword. They could do more than answer each other's questions on DSS.

There are enough posters on those forums to form writing circles. They could subject their writing to group critiques before submitting it to their clients. They could form project teams. The opportunities for them are endless if they're willing to move foreword.

Unfortunately, Demand Studios Sucks is hell bent on criticizing Demand Media Studios. They're not looking and planning for a time when Demand Studios is not a factor.

That thread would be longwinded only to those who don't have the patience to read every post.

Diva's "attempt" to out me as the dude I posted about in the DM forum shows that you guys just make shit up on the fly as an excuse to feel superior. Yet you get anally assaulted when I post a shitty TFPLY article with no author attached to it, whining that I'm outing an author, yeah "eHow contributor," your ass is under strict watch now.
I'm tempted to stick around and keep posting solely to annoy you three sheep for thinking you're any better than the "zombies" because you say bad words in a forum and make a few hahas. Still, you may get your wish, as I'm clearly not as good as you at sitting around and bickering about my job and how much better I am than everyone else working for Demand.
If I'm back, I'm back. If not, I give this glorified flame board permission to think they've driven me off with their bad ass intranet skillz, since you guys clearly need the boost in confidence received from thinking you've bested somebody.
And Queen, I have a few threads you've missed. If you'd like to go for the gold and troll every post I've made in my short time here, most of them are in the DS section. We all know Diva needs someone to scream "YEAAAAH!" behind.
If there was a like option, this one post would've gotten a vote.

This person was spot on. I extend the poster's assessment, of these posters, to all the posters in the opposition.

All the negative comments thrown my direction are from people that are licking wounds. These are people that thought that they'd easily drive me away from the forum. I turned the tables around and stomped their faces into the dirt.

Intellectually, they knew that I was destroying their side of the argument. I engaged in direct refutation against them. None of them attempted the same with me. First, they were used to utilizing bully tactics. Second, they never had a need to advance a real argument.

All they needed was a mob mentality. Just gang up on the new guy, and he disappears.

I forced them into a bind when I shoved a real argument down their throats... I forced them into a position to where they had no real argument against me.

They found themselves in the hot seat that they forced new posters into. They were no longer in a position of dominance, but in a position of weakness. They weren't used to that. They utilized bully tactics to compensate for the fact that, in real life, they were truly little people inside.

They had no real life accomplishments to speak off.

After I had gotten banned, they lashed out at me, playground style, for daring to drop kick their faces into the dirt. They didn't like the fact that someone would put them in their places... with them having nothing substantial to say in response.

If these "writers" or "editors," or "people" expect to have a future in writing, they need to learn how to work with other writers. They'll need to learn how to look forward. Here's the most important thing that they'll need to do... they'll need to swallow their pride, see people for who they really are, and take the advice of those in better positions than them.

They also need to come to terms with the fact that Demand Studios was their client. Demand didn't owe them anything outside of the contractor agreement that writers "sign."

If they think that something is "too long, didn't read," they need to find another profession. Real writers are also reading commandos.

Groundskeeper Willie, knowing that I had gotten banned, jumped on the thread and chastised people for posting on a thread after that fact. Whether he was sarcastic, or serious, one thing jumped out from his posts.

He has great appreciation for what people in the military have done.

Groundskeeper Willie's reminding people not to make irrelevant posts is equivalent to something else...

On a real message board, moderators would've locked the thread for "running its course." The administrators should've done that, instead of banning me. Even with the banning, the thread would've gotten locked.

In his humorous way, he talked about the thread being "sacred ground" on the account that "thebesig fought and died there." Enigmatic Jack talks about turning that "ground" into a strip mall. Groundskeeper Willie jumps in and makes the above statement, about "occupying" the "Time to Stop Lurking" thread.

Now, "berg," still licking her wounds from the beatings she got, took this opportunity to take a swipe at me. This begged the question though. How could a "dead" person "have sex" with someone that was "alive"?

I haven't written for Demand Media Studios, for over 2 years. I don't qualify for the "zombie" title that they give those still working for Demand Media.

Anybody, with half a brain would've seen that if I came back, I'd be to counter every post that attacked me.

Don't Get Mad at Demand Studios, Fight Back!

You found your title from Demand Studio's title's list. It felt like you've spent an eternity finding something you could write. You get right to work. You pour through one website after another finding material you could add to your article.

You start writing. After what felt like a headache, and an hour of research and writing, you did it. You've got a finished product.

You take a break, then come back.

You go through your article making sure that your work is grammatically correct. You check all your spelling, then double check all your data. You push your keyboard away and sigh with relief.

You've done it. You've created an article that you hope will mean an extra $15.00 in your account. You hit submit and move on to your next article.

Days go buy without content editor comment. You keep writing articles. Each time you hit "submit," you tick your pay counter in your mind. Then it comes. You receive an email saying that your article need edits.

You look at the feed back. You're ready to bang your head against the wall. The Content Editor obviously had no clue about the subject matter that you wrote about. Getting the information that they asked for is either impossible, or would require expanding time, money and/or resources.

You have two choices at this point.

You can abandon the article, or you could rewrite it as best as you can. You chose the second option and submit it. The Content Editor rejects your article.

A couple days later, you're browsing on eHow and what do you run into? You see an ehow article on display, that looks familiar. It's not that different from how you wrote it. Yup, that's your work, your words. Someone rejected your article, then turned around and submitted it. It quickly got approved.

The person that rejected your article earned $15.00 for your sweat, time and effort. It took him less than 1 minute of effort to get your credit. You're left standing there with an empty bag while the person that rejected your article added your $15.00 to his account.

So, what do you do when you're faced with your next article rewrite?

It's your call. If the changes make sense, and are actionable, then make the changes. But, if the changes are ridiculous and aren't actionable, then you have a couple choices. You could erase everything that you put in there, save it, and then abandon it.

Or, you could copy and paste the article, change the title, then use it for another client. If you don't have another client that'll take your work, post it on your blog. Don't have a blog? There are free blogging sites you could create a profile for. Blogger.com is an example of a site that'll let you blog for free.

At any rate, if you don't plan on resubmitting the article, republish it elsewhere.

Remember, Demand Studios doesn't own the rights to your article until they flag it for payment. Until then, what you've written is yours. You have the rights to it, just rework the title.

What does posting it, elsewhere, do for Demand Studios?

It puts them in the wrong a second time if one of their editors decides to repost your rejected article. You have 4 days to rewrite your article. This means that if you repost it, either on your blog or though another client, it ages for 4 days.

If a Content Editor "steals" your work, they'll be posting a duplicate of a four day old post.

If that happens, report them to the people that run the search engines.

If you're no longer a writer at Demand Studios, here's a strategy for you.

Find an eHow article that's no longer accurate. Write a counter article with the correct information, contradicting that eHow article. Post this counter article on your blog... or sell it to your client if his or her "terms of use" permits such articles.

Once you get it posted, push it to your social networking site. Log onto facebook, go to that eHow article, and reply to that article with your rebuttal. Give enough information to discredit the whole article, or a good chunk of it.

What do these two strategies do?

They slowly wage war against Demand Studio's credibility over a long period of time. This is your chance to get back at them... while building on your own writing portfolio.
